About UsSpanner-in-the-works is first and formally a family run business.With a wealth of experience in both the Contracting World and the I.T. industry, we realised that by combining our areas of knowledge we could produce a valuable tool for both Trade Professionals and the General Public alike. No Nonsense Approach Tired of finding directories which were difficult to navigate or slow to react, we decided to create our own no nonsense directory. We've cut out any superfluous pictures, text and links in order to create a streamlined site which we hope will become a most valuable tool. A Useful Site To ensure our site is useful to everyone, it is not simply a directory of trades people. We've also decided to add useful information such as Health & Safety and where some of the best insurance deals can be found - Plus of course our Free recruitment pages.
