General Terms and ConditionsThe spanner-in-the-works website exists to provide the public with a database of qualified trades men & women.Contractors who are known to the database must be a member of a trade and industry body. Spanner-in-the-works will personally check the contractors trade credentials before allowing the contractors details to be available with the spanner-in-the-works database. However, spanner-in-the-works is available as an introductory facilty only. It enables quick and efficient listings of trades people who meet clients requirements. Spanner-in-the-works does not guarantee or underwrite the resulting work provided. By use of the spanner-in-the-works database, the public users agrees that spanner-in-the-works is free from any liability which may result from the contracted work. Users of the site may search the database for free. Users of the site may add Feedback regarding any contractor listed in the database provided they meet the feedback terms and conditions. Contractors may register with Spanner-In-The-Works for FREE. Registration does not guarantee automatic membership. Even though an initial membership number is automatically generated, spanner-in-the-works reserves the right to revoke membership if they believe information provided to them has been falsified. Membership to spanner-in-the-works is free for an initial six month period, there after a small annual charge will be payable to assist with admin costs. Members of Spanner-In-The-Works are not obligated to continue with their membership after thier Free trial period and may remove their details at any time by contacting us. Members of spanner-in-the-works are able to upload job advertisements for free. Please refer to our Recruitment Terms and Conditions for further information.
